What is Kauri?
Kauri is a Java-based, REST-centric framework for developing non-trivial web applications and web services.
By combining best-of-breed components and practices such as Restlet, Spring, Maven and jQuery, Kauri offers a compelling development framework for building rich interactive internet applications.
The focus of Kauri is to support REST-centric application development for multi-person development teams, with a special emphasis on the development process itself: Kauri can be used right from the prototyping phase straight through to production.
Kauri is run by a team of experienced Java developers and is licensed under the liberal Apache open source license.
